NetSoc services will be unavailable this weekend 10th and 11th October due to system upgrades and maintenance.

This is due to our delayed migration to our new systems to allow implementation of services on our current system.

NetSoc Memberships

Hi, the membership information went out today.

Thanks for all our members who having been bearing with us in our current struggle to get our new system in place.

Member Accounts

First of all apologies to all our members. We have been waiting for IT services to register a number of servers for us and we had hoped that it would be sorted by now.

If this doesn't appear to be happening by the end of the week I'll set up the members on our current system then transfer them across once our new system is in place.

Back up.

Apparently we were blackholed by UCD IT services due to spam related activities. These spam related activities turned out to be mailing lists from our hosted Society webpages. We are now back up, and have a failover system in place just in case.

Downed services

Apologies for the down time yesterday. For some odd reason UCD IT services have blocked our primary server. I am in the process of transferring everything to a secondary server so please bare with us. We are hoping to be back up by the end of the day.

For any additional info please email ops@netsoc.com
